Cincinnati Reds third baseman Todd Frazier did on Thursday what a good Jersey boy should do — and paid tribute to actor James Gandolfini, who died on Wednesday. Frazier changed his at-bat song to the theme from "The Sopranos," the show in which Gandolfini had his career-defining role as Tony Soprano.
Frazier is from Toms River, N.J. (and still lives there). He attended Rutgers. And, of course, he loved "The Sopranos," which was set in Jersey.

Elsewhere in Gandolfini baseball tributes: the Yankees honored the actor with a moment of silence before Thursday's game. Gandolfini had been given the celeb treatment at Yankee Stadium before. He was chosen to read Lou Gehrig's famous farewell speech in 2002 as part of a league-wide tribute and Gandolfini threw out a first pitch with his "Sopranos" castmates that same year.
