Royals close to agreement for draft pick Manaea (Yahoo! Sports)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- The Kansas City Royals are close to a $3.55 million agreement with Indiana State left-hander Sean Manaea, whom they chose with the first pick in the competitive balance portion for the draft.
