With another month of the baseball season past, here's a list that's sure to please the home run gawkers among us. It's the longest home runs of the May. Just like we did in April, we wanted to show you baseball's top five homers of the month. Because of ties, you get six this time.
Two of them are from Boston Red Sox slugger Mike Napoli, who seized the top of this list on May 1. He hit two home runs against the Toronto Blue Jays that weren't bested the rest of May. Data for this comes from ESPN's Home Run Tracker — which calculates how far homers actually travel.
472 feet — Mike Napoli, May 1.
467 feet — Mike Napoli, May 1
465 feet — Colby Rasmus, May 21.
464 feet — a tie between David Wright (May 3), J.D. Martinez (May 15) and Pablo Sandoval (May 21)

April's top mashers, Anthony Rizzo and Mark Trumbo (both with 475 feet) still have the longest homers of the year. However, Napoli has three appearances on the monthly lists. Rasmus has two.
