Many Los Angeles Dodgers fans aren't smiling right now, not after Monday night's collapsing loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks. But here's something that should bring a smile to the faces of Dodgers fans, baseball fans and fans of "The Simpsons."
It's actor and voice master Hank Azaria — who voices half of Springfield, it seems like — announcing the Dodgers lineup in "Simpsons" voices. Specifically: Moe the Bartender, Apu from the Kwik-E-Mart and Police Chief Wiggum.
Between Azaria's bit from Sunday and actress Olivia Munn throwing out the first pitch on Monday, the Dodgers had a couple days of nice pre-game entertainment, even if the on-the-field stuff has been rough. Except you, of course, Yasiel Puig.
If the Dodgers get Azaria to come back and do this again — which would be cool — how about he gives us Disco Stu and Comic Book Guy? There are probably many Dodgers fans who can relate to his "Worst [whatever] Ever" refrain.
Baseball season's in full swing. Don't miss a thing.
