‘Coco Lean’ bobblehead tours the Bay Area with two diehard Oakland A’s fans

Last week, The Stew ran a giveaway for the very rad Coco Crisp "Coco Lean" bobblehead that the Oakland Athletics will be handing out to the first 15,000 fans at Saturday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals. We got so many great submissions that we convinced bobblehead maker BDA, Inc. to give us two prizes.

One went to John Botros, who made us an entire slideshow explaining why he should get the bobblehead. Another went to Van Demske, a diehard A's fan who regularly sits in Oakland's famous Section 149. They both had an assignment to take the Coco Lean bobblehead out and introduce it to the Bay Area.

Some great stuff happened: John managed to get the Coco Lean bobblehead autographed by Coco Crisp himself. He also introduced him to A's owner Lew Wolff. From there, John and his girlfriend took Coco around San Francisco, where they live, including their favorite bar to watch the A's play when they're not at the game in person.

Van — @vdemske on Twitter — introduced Coco Lean to her Section 149 friends. She also took him to see the A's single-A affiliate, the Stockton Ports, then to various random places — including photobombing a family at the Golden Gate Bridge, going to In-N-Out Burger and riding on a boat.

Thanks to the A's and BDA, Inc. for taking part in this. Thanks to our tour guides for the great pics.

Baseball season's in full swing. Don't miss a thing.
