Prince Harry and Yankees slugger Mark Teixeira play baseball in Harlem

Interestingly enough, when Prince Harry of Wales decides to play baseball, he does it with a Yankee and not with a Royal.

Harry stopped by Harlem RBI's baseball field Tuesday as part of his tour of the U.S. There, he played a little baseball with injured New York Yankees star Mark Teixeira.

(Since we're a sports blog and a not tabloid, a little context: Harry is the younger brother of William, who was recently married to Kate Middleton. They're both sons to Princess Di and Charles, Prince of Wales.)

Teixeira pitched to Harry, they high-fived and one picture makes it look like they were telling A-Rod jokes to each other. Look at that royal gasp on Harry's face. Now they're BFFs: Baseball friends forever.

The pair also led the kids in some baseball drills. You have to wonder if Harry knew what he was talking about, or if it was like The Pope teaching kids how to shoot free throws?

Now a polo clinic? Prince Harry probably would have killed at that.

Baseball is back. Don't miss anything.
