Giants activate lefty reliever Affeldt from DL (Yahoo! Sports)

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- The San Francisco Giants have activated left-handed reliever Jeremy Affeldt from the 15-day disabled list after he had been sidelined since April 17 with a strained muscle in his right side.
