Cubs call up Putnam from Triple-A Iowa (Yahoo! Sports)
CHICAGO (AP) -- The Chicago Cubs called up right-handed pitcher Zach Putnam from Triple-A Iowa Thursday and sent down right-handed pitcher Alex Burnett to the minor league club.
