Carlos Ruiz to go on DL; Howard is day to day (Yahoo! Sports)

MIAMI (AP) -- Philadelphia Phillies catcher Carlos Ruiz is headed to the 15-day disabled list with a strained right hamstring and first baseman Ryan Howard is day to day with a sore left knee.
