SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) -- Saying he hopes to keep the matter out of the courts, San Jose Mayor Chuck Reed has requested a meeting with Major League Baseball Commissioner Bud Selig to discuss the Oakland A's pursuit of a San Jose ballpark.
