Characters from Cirque du Soleil's "Totem" show threw out the first pitch Thursday before the San Diego Padres/New York Mets game at Citi Field. It was definitely, ummm, colorful.
We see characters on the baseball field, but we don't often see characters like this. A perfect chance, we thought, for you to create-a-caption.
So have at it, amateur Internet copywriters of the world. How should this caption read? No need to contain your jokes to the Mets, either. Baseball's a big game. Though, we don't blame you, if you want to make Mets jokes.
Follow the jump for winners from our last C-a-C, featuring a joyful R.A. Dickey.
Spring training is here and R.A. Dickey wants to give it a big hug
1st — Gromilton: "R.A. Dickey reenacts his experience at Woodstock '69."
2nd — The Football God: "I got a contract ttthhhhhhiiiiiiiiiiiissssssssssssss big to LEAVE the Mets."
3rd — ZackM: "Dickey retires, citing job opening with Vatican."
Baseball is back. Don't miss anything.
