Bad news for the Team USA as it readies for first pitch against the Dominican Republic in second-round World Baseball Classic action: David Wright — the man everybody's calling "Captain America" these days — isn't in the starting lineup. Uh-oh.
#WBCToday reports that David Wright is scratched from tonight's line up with a sore back. @usabaseball face the DR next on @mlbnetwork. #WBC

Wright is Team USA's hottest bat by far, with 16 hits and 10 RBIs. In fact, he's been carrying the American offense. Willie Bloomquist takes Wright's place in the starting lineup.
Earlier today, The Stew broke down the keys to victory for both the United States and Dominican Republic. Wright was mentioned about 47 times because of the tear he's been on.
Now, Team USA will definitely need a break-out performance from Giancarlo Stanton, Ryan Braun, Adam Jones or another of its big bats.
The winner of the game advances to San Francisco for the World Baseball Classic semi-finals. The loser faces Puerto Rico in an elimination game Friday.
