Well, that didn't take long.
San Francisco police arrested Gregory Tyler Graniss on Tuesday night and charged him with felony vandalism and a felony count of injuring or destroying a passenger transit vehicle. The 22-year-old San Francisco native is allegedly the person seen throwing a street barricade through the window of a San Francisco Muni bus after the Giants won the World Series on Sunday night. The act of vandalism triggered the burning of the $1 million bus and was captured by photographer Susana Bates before being widely circulated across the Internet, including Yahoo!'s front page. The Big League Stew post was shared on Facebook over 4,800 times alone.
With the face of the perpetrator out there, San Francisco police were able to act quickly.

"This was a senseless act of destruction and there is no tolerance for such criminal behavior in San Francisco," police chief Greg Suhr said in a release. "With assistance from the public, investigators moved swiftly to identify this suspect and make an arrest. Investigators are also working tirelessly to identify those responsible for setting the bus on fire and to bring them to justice."
The Giants' second title parade since 2010 is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon. Hopefully the power of social media discourages any Halloween ghouls and ghoblins from creating any type of similar trouble.
