Cubs place Garza on DL (Yahoo! Sports)
SAN DIEGO (AP) -- Chicago Cubs right-hander Matt Garza has been placed on the 15-day disabled list and will be shut down ''indefinitely,'' general manager Jed Hoyer said Monday.
