Bedard, Pirates' shut down D-backs 4-0 (Yahoo! Sports)

PITTSBURGH (AP) -- Erik Bedard allowed two hits over seven innings Monday night and the Pittsburgh Pirates opened a season-long 11-game homestand with a 4-0 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks.
