College mayhem rules as Arizona clinches its first NCAA title in Omaha (Photos)

They held a Phish concert in Omaha on Monday night and the University of Arizona somehow walked away with its first NCAA baseball title, downing two-time defending champ South Carolina with a 4-1 victory to sweep the best-of-three series in two games.

Seriously, though: The atmosphere at the College World Series was so rowdy that it fueled its own post on Deadspin, provided a wealth of YouTube clips and sent oodles of traffic to Minda Haas's Flickr account after everyone's favorite Nebraskan baseball blogger documented the mayhem with her Nikon. One group of female field stormers made it a mission to get grabby with posteriors of the Arizona outfielders, giving me plenty of, uh, "unrestrained" picture fodder for a memorable tweet.

At any rate, congratulations to the University of Arizona Wildcats as well as the grounds crew at TD Ameritrade Park. As you can see from the picture below, they literally had their hands full.
