Pettitte testimony appears to help Clemens (Yahoo! Sports)

WASHINGTON (AP) Andy Pettitte (PEHT'-iht) was supposed to bolster the government's perjury case against Roger Clemens, his former baseball teammate and friend. Instead, Pettitte appears to have substantially aided Clemens by readily conceding he might have misunderstood their conversation about human growth hormone.
