Tuesday's rash of tornadoes that caused plenty of damage in the Dallas/Fort Worth area also reportedly included a funnel cloud that formed over Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.
Confirming that fact with actual video evidence from the eye of the storm was none other than Mike Napoli, an amateur cinematographer whose utility to the Texas Rangers knows no bounds. Check out the scary video that last October's hero (and future Scorsese) shot from the Rangers dugout and later uploaded to social media:
The actual cloud is hard to make out from that cellphone video, but the moment that the curious Rangers decided they should take some real cover sure isn't. Luckily, no one was hurt and the ballpark suffered no structural damage. The Rangers are still scheduled to start tonight's exhibition against Diablos Rojos del Mexico at its original time.
