A person familiar with the deal tells The Associated Press that the Philadelphia Phillies and free-agent pitcher Joel Pineiro have agreed to a minor league contract. The person, speaking on condition of anonymity because the agreement hasn't been announced, said the deal includes an invitation to major league camp for spring training.
