PITTSBURGH (AP) -- Pedro Alvarez and Garrett Jones each homered and Francisco Liriano pitched six strong innings as the surging Pittsburgh Pirates won their eighth straight game, 2-1 over the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday night.
