The ‘Star Wars’ chicken dance and other far-out stuff from the Diamondbacks ‘Star Wars’ day

The Arizona Diamondbacks added to the "Star Wars" fun we've seen in baseball this year, having a "Star Wars"-themed game on Sunday during against the Cincinnati Reds. Already we've seen a few different minor league teams doing "Star Wars" nights, now it was the big leaguers' turn.

The wacky highlight of the D-backs event was seeing the "Chicken Dance" performed by Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes (aka The Cantina Band). Thanks to MLB.com for the GIF.

ESPN showed Reds players hitting home runs with light sabers during highlights, which is probably not what the D-backs wanted to see, but cool nonetheless. Here are some other "Star Wars" shenanigans from Chase Field:

Unfortunately for the Diamondbacks, Reds pitcher Mat Latos was one with The Dark Side on Sunday, striking out 13 and getting the victory as the Reds won 4-2.

Baseball season's in full swing. Don't miss a thing.
