Just imagine what Yasiel Puig will do in his third game.
One night after helping the Los Angeles Dodgers win with his throwing arm, Puig hit two home runs and knocked in five to lead them to a 9-7 victory against the San Diego Padres. Puig's first homer was a three-run shot against Clayton Richard that tied the score. His second deep came in the next inning as part of another tiebreaking rally. The Dodger Stadium crowd gave him curtain calls both times. He also led off the bottom of the first with a double, so he has five hits in two games.

Puig became the first Dodgers player with more than one homer in his first two career games, and the first to have five RBIs in that span since Spider Jorgensen drove in six runs on April 17, 1947, against the Boston Braves, according to information provided to the Dodgers by Elias Sports Bureau.
Everybody knows that Puig >>> Spider, (except in Charlotte's Web). Puig's popularity might not eclipse that of Fernando Valenzuela, who rode his screwball to fame and fortune in the 1980s with the Dodgers, but Puig appears to be giving it his best shot. He's got two near-legendary games in the books already.
