Diamondbacks put McCarthy on DL (Yahoo! Sports)
CHICAGO (AP) -- The Arizona Diamondbacks placed right-hander Brandon McCarthy on the disabled list Saturday because he has right shoulder inflammation and recalled Randall Delgado from Triple-A Reno.
