Yankees call up INF David Adams, cut Chris Nelson (Yahoo! Sports)

NEW YORK (AP) -- The New York Yankees have selected the contract of infielder David Adams from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, and they designated third baseman Chris Nelson for assignment two weeks after acquiring him.
