Padres place Richard on DL, activate Ross (Yahoo! Sports)

SAN DIEGO (AP) -- The San Diego Padres placed winless left-hander Clayton Richard on the 15-day disabled list Sunday with an intestinal virus and activated right-hander Tyson Ross.
