The star-studded Los Angeles Dodgers made a star-studded video to open the season

This is the Dodgers' opening day video and it's either going to make you love the Dodgers and their embarrassment of riches even more, or make you shake your head at all the pomp and circumstance in Los Angeles this year.

It's seven minutes long, packed with celebs wishing the Dodgers well, all leading up to the first pitch of Monday's game (which the Dodgers won 4-0). Magic Johnson prepared to throw the pitch, but instead, in a very "Showtime" movie, Don Mattingly called out a reliever — the legendary Sandy Koufax (btw, a noted objecter to the "digital revolution," so don't expect him to be a part of any video shenanigans).

The lead-up to the first pitch includes Dodgers icons such as Tommy Lasorda and Maury Wills, L.A. sports heroes Kobe Bryant, Blake Griffin and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Hollywood celebs such as Britney Spears, Jessica Alba and Cam and Mitchell from "Modern Family."

If you'd rather skip all the famous people and just see Magic, Mattingly and Sandy, here's the abbreviated version:

On a related note, here's Yahoo! Sports' Tim Brown on Clayton Kershaw looking like Koufax on Monday, a comparison that can now be made without blasphemy.

Opening Day is here. Don't miss anything.
