Seven sluggers who surprisingly haven’t homered so far this season

David Wright hit his first home run on Tuesday, striking his name from the list of notable sluggers who had yet to homer  in 2013. On Monday, Ryan Zimmerman hit his first, as did Evan Longoria. On Sunday, Joey Votto vanished from the list.

Still, there are a few notable homer hold-outs — including a reigning MVP, a past National League home-run champ and a guy some people thought was going smack 50 dingers this year.

Cue the list.

Matt Kemp — 2013 at-bats: 51 | Career AB/HR: 22

* * *

Giancarlo Stanton: 2013 at-bats: 30 | Career AB/HR: 14.6

* * *

Buster Posey: 2013 at-bats: 39 | Career AB/HR: 25.1

* * *

Alfonso Soriano: 2013 at-bats: 47 | Career AB/HR: 18.8

* * *

Jay Bruce: 2013 at-bats: 58 | Career AB/HR: 18.4

* * *

Allen Craig: 2013 at-bats: 49 | Career AB/HR: 22.5

* * *

Carlos Pena: 2013 at-bats: 46 | Career AB/HR: 16.8

Who will be next to get off the no-homer list? There's a good chance — mathematically speaking — that one or two of these guys will erase their zero Tuesday or Wednesday.

Who do you think is next?
