Mets recall Carson from minors; designate Laffey (Yahoo! Sports)

NEW YORK (AP) -- Seeking help for their struggling bullpen, the New York Mets have recalled Rob Carson from Triple-A Las Vegas and designated fellow left-hander Aaron Laffey for assignment.
