Jays claim 1B Mauro Gomez off waivers (Yahoo! Sports)
TORONTO (AP) -- The Toronto Blue Jays have claimed first baseman Mauro Gomez off waivers from the Boston Red Sox and optioned him to Triple-A Buffalo.
