Hanley Ramirez expected to be out for 8 weeks (Yahoo! Sports)

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) -- Dodgers shortstop Hanley Ramirez is scheduled to undergo surgery Friday on his injured right thumb and is expected to be sidelined for eight weeks.
