Hamels excited about opening-day start (Yahoo! Sports)

CLEARWATER, Fla. (AP) -- Cole Hamels says it's an ''honor'' to start on opening day and he'll ''cherish'' his first assignment when the Philadelphia Phillies begin the season at Atlanta.
