Braves place Venters on DL, add Gattis (Yahoo! Sports)

ATLANTA (AP) -- The Atlanta Braves have placed left-hander Jonny Venters on the 15-day with a sprained elbow and purchased the contract of catcher Evan Gattis as they set their opening day roster.
