Royals claim C Kottaras off waivers from Oakland (Yahoo! Sports)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- The Royals claimed catcher George Kottaras off waivers from the Oakland Athletics on Friday and designated infielder Tony Abreu for assignment.
