Motte, Cardinals agree to $12 million, 2-year deal (Yahoo! Sports)

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- Reliever Jason Motte and the St. Louis Cardinals have agreed to a $12 million, two-year contract, avoiding salary arbitration.
