*OK, maybe it only seemed like Kentucky. Pablo Sandoval's homer in the seventh inning actually landed in the right-field bullpen at Great American Ball Park about 422 feet from home plate. Had it cleared the park's walls and bounced into the Ohio River, then it would have technically arrived in Kentucky like an Adam Dunn homer did in 2004.
Still, Sandoval's blast put an exclamation point on the San Francisco Giants' 8-3 victory against the Cincinnati Reds in Game 4 of the NLDS. Though the Reds maintain home-field advantage for the deciding game on Thursday, they might want to petition the league to finish up at AT&T Park, where their pitching dominated the first two games.
OK, that's as ludicrous as hitting a home run to Kentucky, but the Giants would seem to have the advantage as Matt Cain takes the hill against Mat Latos in the finale. Will the Reds become the first team ever to lose a series in this format, the 2-3, finishing with three games at home?
