Royals activate 2B Getz from DL, option Giavotella (Yahoo! Sports)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) The Royals have activated second baseman Chris Getz from the 15-day disabled list and optioned second baseman Johnny Giavotella to Triple-A Omaha.
