Mets purchase Young's contract, activate Batista (Yahoo! Sports)

WASHINGTON (AP) The New York Mets purchased the contract of right-handed pitcher Chris Young from Triple-A Buffalo and he was set to start Tuesday night against the Washington Nationals.
