George ‘The Animal’ Steele surfaces at minor league game to chew cover off first pitch baseball

When most of us last saw George "The Animal" Steele, he was entertaining mid-'80s pro wrestling crowds by munching on the soft innards of the ring's turnbuckles.

Flash forward 20 or so years. Though he's now 75 years old, it looks like The Animal still has an appetite for things that shouldn't necessarily be hitting his digestive system.

Watch what happened as Steele was asked to throw out the first pitch before a Rochester Red Wings game last weekend:

While other retired wrestlers haven't aged that gracefully — if at all — we have to say it's nice to see Steele still getting after it with his trademark act after all these years.

Turnbuckles, pillows and baseballs, though, might respectfully disagree.
