Cubs place 3B Ian Stewart on DL, promote Valbuena (Yahoo! Sports)

CHICAGO (AP) The Chicago Cubs have selected the contract of infielder Luis Valbuena from Triple-A Iowa and activated catcher Welington Castillo from the disabled list.
