White Sox place Danks on DL, recall Quintana (Yahoo! Sports)

CHICAGO (AP) The Chicago White Sox have placed starting pitcher John Danks on the 15-day disabled list because of a strained left shoulder and recalled left-hander Jose Quintana from Triple-A Charlotte.
