If there's really a "Mets, Jets and Nets" accord in New York, Tim Tebow apparently hasn't gotten the memo. The Big Apple's newest quarterback showed up in the Bronx on Sunday night for the nationally-televised Yankees-Angels game wearing a Yankees cap.
Dwyane Wade, meanwhile, renounced all of his ties to Chicago by later joining Tebow in the same row and donning an identical Yankees lid (because it worked out so well for LeBron in the 2007 postseason, no doubt).
While Tebow and Wade's Yankee Stadium tourist act is a bit disappointing, at least we can all give thanks to the napping Halos fan in the background for keeping it real. There's no way anyone would be wearing the worst hat in MLB history if they weren't a true fan.
So have at it, amateur Internet copy editors of the world. How should this caption read?
Follow the jump for winners from our last C-a-C, featuring Tim Lincecum's evil twin.
"That'll do Timmy, that'll do"
1st — Mr. Jones. "You know what they say, hair today, gone tomorrow."
2nd — Vaffanculo. "Here, let me save time and just throw it over the fence."
3rd — Jimy. "Nice going, Zito."
HM — Matt. "There! And that's how you hold a slider. Remember?"
HM — Rex. "On behalf of the entire Giants organization, I'd like to thank you for your contribution to the club over the years. You've been traded to Chicago ... for Alex Rios."
